JCI Luxembourg | CYEL 2024 Gala Event Visual Package

Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg (CYEL) is the flagship project of JCI Luxembourg and ran for an 18th consecutive edition in 2024. It is the oldest startup competition still running in Luxembourg. Past winners have gone on and made a mark on the international CYE competition and have gone on to grow and scale up their business beyond Luxembourg successfully. Visualize Impact was tasked to create a visual package for the CYEL 2024 Gala

These photos show the full graphical package in action during speeches, award-giving, official photos and other parts of the Gala Ceremony.

In picture 3, the video at the center was filmed and edited by Izicast. Visualize Impact assisted on the audio and compilation of the 10 videos that played during that segment of the ceremony as well as the graphics package around the video.

Intro Video

Visualize Impact created an intro video to kick-start the ceremony. It starts with a countdown to create some hype and then uses a mix of 2D and 3D animation, and a Montage provided by Veezy to introduce the startups and retrace the main events leading up to this one. We also animated the CYEL Logo we created to conclude the video.

Jingle

We used the logo animation in the intro video as a jingle for transitions between speakers and segments of the ceremony.

Sponsors Loop Video

We updated the looped video with animations of the sponsors’ logos originally created in 2023. We added some new logos for some of the sponsors. The layout and time shown on screen of the logos vary based on sponsorship tier. This video played on the side screens, acting as a moving billboard.

Main Screen Slides

The visual package included creating some striking slides in 32×9 format to match the size of the massive screen used for the ceremony. These slides were used to introduce speakers, announce winners and provide a backdrop for official photos during the ceremony. The designs were similar to 2023 but updated slightly to refine some elements.
